Private equity platform and asset manager Moonfare has co-invested alongside a consortium led by global investment organisation EQT into an internationally renowned provider of international private education.

Moonfare investors have gained access to Nord Anglia Education, which operates more than 80 schools across 37 countries, educating over 90,000 students. Founded in 1972, its global collaborations with world-leading institutions and organisations, such as MIT, UNICEF, Juilliard and IMG Academy, sets it apart as a true differentiator in the education sector.

EQT has been an investor in Nord Anglia Education since 2008 and further strengthened its commitment in 2017, when CPP Investments joined as an investor. In 2025, EQT led a new consortium of premier institutional investors – including Neuberger Berman Private Markets, CPP Investments, Corporación Financiera Alba, Dubai Holding Investments, Mubadala and a distinguished group of global financial asset managers – to acquire the organisation, valuing it at $14.5 billion.
