Our third annual investor survey found that investors are indeed adjusting portfolios for the new economic reality. While buyouts remain the go-to investment opportunity, potentially more protective assets like secondaries and private credit have gained significant momentum.
At the same time, interest in private markets remains high. Notably, nearly 90% of respondents intend to increase their allocations. They see the greatest investment potential in healthcare and technology, especially in artificial intelligence.
