Three global PE investment firms, Bain Capital, Blackstone and KKR, have expressed interest in acquiring a majority stake in pharmaceutical manufacturing company, Granules India.
Reportedly, the Indian firm is evaluating the sale of a controlling stake at a premium valuation and the three leading PE firms have submitted non-binding bids.
Granules India is recognised as one of the world’s top makers of the popular fever reliever pills – paracetamol.
