The private equity firm CVC Capital Partners has joined the race alongside buyout firm Clayton Dubilier & Rice for German industrial services provider Bilfinger SE.
Bilfinger’s SE largest investors, which include Cevian Capital AB, would likely welcome a sale after the firm’s stock fell 35% this year. ENA Investment Capital, has also urged the company to explore asset sales, according to Private Equity Insights.
Reportedly, deliberations are still at an early stage and may not lead to a deal.
