According to Market Watch, MasMovil Ibercom S.A has received a $3.3bn buyout offer from three buyout funds, a deal that would represent the biggest  take-private of a listed European telecoms firm in over two years.

Cinven, KKR and Providence Equity Partners, have offered to pay EUR 22.50 a share for the Spanish telecom operator, who was recently top performing on the IBEX 35.

MasMovil owns Yoigo, Llamaya and Pepehone brands. Furthermore, the company reported revenues of EUR 1.7bn and 8.9M clients last February.

Currently, MasMovil is the fourth largest operator in Spain.
